Most retailer's will be able to provide you with a sample tube for your review. Daylight balanced tubes operate the exact same way that ordinary neon tubes do but they burn at a different light spectrum. They are tinted and burn at the right tempoture to simulate natural sunlight. When you look at the tube it will have a bluish tint to it which helps to moderate the harsh neon light into natural daylight.

Most people overlook this part of office design and that is a mistake. With the right lighting your workers will feel more comfortable in their office environment and will be more productive.
